The sovereign space infrastructure of Francophone Africa.

NMD is building the first industrial Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) hub for nanosatellites in Douala / Kribi (3°N), Cameroon. We're raising 1.32B FCFA (€2M) via a SAFE to move from proof of concept to industrialization.

What is NMD?

NMD (Nanosatellite Missions Design) is building the first industrial Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) hub for nanosatellites in Francophone Africa, based in Douala and Kribi (3°N), Cameroon.

Official technical advisor to the Cameroonian government (CNDT), NMD has already generated over 150M FCFA in revenue (2023-2025) through consulting, training, and contracts with Aerospacelab, MTN Benin, and IHS Towers, before the facility is even built.

Why invest now

1

A cost-competitive AIT hub, in partnership with the state

Satellite Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) in Douala costs 40% less than elsewhere. NMD partners with CNDT, bringing them space and satellite technology expertise.

2

African space is booming

Something real is being built. African governments are investing in space at an unprecedented pace, and international funding is turning into concrete programs. What's missing are the engineers who can actually run it all. That's exactly what NMD is building.

$626.69M
Africa's space budget in 2025, having doubled between 2018 and 2024 (Space in Africa, 2026)
€100M
Africa-EU Space Partnership 2025-2028, co-led by ESA and AfSA (European Commission, 2025)
72 satellites · $2.6B
planned by 20 African countries by 2030, with 52% of contracts not yet awarded, within a continental space economy projected at $39.5B by 2030 (Space in Africa, 2024)
3

Proven traction before the factory

150M FCFA in cumulative revenue (2023-2025), signed contracts with Aerospacelab, MTN Benin, and IHS Towers, plus a letter of intent from SENSAT (Senegal), who have expressed interest in having their satellites assembled, integrated, and tested at our hub once it's built.

World-class team

Dr. Ifriky Tadadjeu (CEO, 4 successful space missions) is backed by space engineering PhDs formerly of SANSA and the ZACUBE program. Technical capability on par with top global players, at a third to a quarter of the cost in Europe.

Why invest now, not in 18 months

The window is real, but it isn't permanent. It takes 18 months from SAFE closing to a fully operational AIT hub: recruiting senior engineers, building the facility, getting ISO 7 certified, and landing first contracts. Every month the raise is delayed is a month added directly to when we can start delivering. Meanwhile, the funding and contract windows are already closing. The Africa-EU Space Partnership (€100M, ESA/AfSA) runs 2025-2028. Every quarter the raise is delayed cuts further into our ability to tap that funding before it ends. Of the 72 satellites planned by 20 African countries by 2030, 52% of contracts, roughly $1.35B, haven't been awarded yet, but they will be, progressively, through 2030. Investing now means NMD will be operational exactly when those decisions are being made. Investing in 12 or 18 months means arriving after most of those contracts already have a winner.
